Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition with SP1 Beta
enables developers to rapidly create Web applications that deliver the
highest quality rich user experiences. This new version enables cool
fun features that build on the latest technologies including AJAX, CSS,
LINQ and JavaScript IntelliSense.
Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition with SP1 Beta and Visual C# 2008 Express Edition with SP1 Beta
enables developers to rapidly create Windows applications that deliver
the highest quality rich user experiences. These new versions enable
cool fun features that build on the latest technologies including WPF,
WCF and LINQ.
Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition with SP1 Beta
is the development environment for creating native Windows applications
that deliver the highest quality rich user experiences. This new
version includes an easy installation of the Windows Platform SDK.
Also included is SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition , SQL Server 2008 Express Edition CTP and MSDN Express documentation.

- Important Requirement for Windows Vista:
To run Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) Applications with this package you will need to have installed Windows Vista SP1 or install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package:

feedback. As a beta release, we recommend you only install the service
pack on test computers. Prior to installation, you should carefully
review the included readme
file to be aware of any known issues with this release. For example,
this service pack has some known compatibility issues with previous
releases, including:

- Silverlight 2 Beta 1 SDK
- Silverlight Tools Beta 1 for Visual Studio 2008
